Be Part of What Makes TAMS - Join Our Committee!
Committee members
We’re always happy to welcome new volunteers who’d like to help TAMS continue to grow and run smoothly. Our committee meets briefly every six weeks to share updates and ideas in a relaxed, friendly setting. You’re welcome to join these meetings—only if you’d like to.
There’s no need to be an expert; enthusiasm and a bit of motivation are more than enough!
Below, you’ll find some of the roles we’re hoping to fill, but everything is flexible. We’re happy to chat and find something that fits your interests, skills, and the time you’re comfortable giving.
Volunteer Role: Fundraiser
We’re looking for someone to help us keep TAMS thriving by supporting our fundraising efforts.
The Fundraiser will take the lead on looking for new grants and funding opportunities, coordinating applications, and helping to report back to funders when needed.
You don’t need to do this alone – the committee and other volunteers can help with writing, ideas, and gathering information. The Treasurer will support you with the financial parts of reports.
Communications & Social Media
We’re looking for a Communications & Social Media Volunteer to help us share the story of TAMS with the community — online, through our website, and with our volunteers.
This role involves helping to keep our website and social media pages up to date, sharing news about our events and activities, and supporting volunteer communications such as newsletters and email updates.
You don’t need to be an expert — just someone who enjoys writing posts, sharing photos, or keeping things organised online.
Relationship Developer
We’re looking for a friendly person to help us stay in touch with allotment sites and build connections with the people and groups that make TAMS what it is.
